Kill the madman, really?

You would think Nazis would be more sympathetic towards mad men. However it appears the confines of a submarine makes fellows (even those of a dubious political nature) behave erratically.

I thought leaders were meant to lead. Does this mean gallantry is over rated?

When chaps crash.

Hitting the crust at some speed may prevent the natural intention of landing take proceed to palatable outcome. However circumstance is not always kind and factors ordinarily under one's control 'go west' as some are wont to say. How a fellow conducts himself after such an occurrence is telling. After a spot of bother there's little use in protesting the fact. There's a time for stoicism but remedying an injury, given that time permits is highly desirable. 

So how does one call for help without sounding like the sort of fellow who does it all the time and needlessly so? 

Look no further than our friend! You would be wise to use the same words, modified for local sensitivities of course, should you require. 

The importance of having a big stick.

You know you've made it when you get to hold the big stick. It allows you stand out the front. Naturally other men will be attracted to the sight and gather around. This then allows you to point and it makes the other chaps look. The automatic respose to such actions has been theorised to be inherently genetic to males.

Needless to say the size of the stick donates the importance of the fellow waiving it around. Some are clearly born to lead and it shows. While others must sit in awe. However the right to stand out the front and point is not pre-determined. Any fellow with the right training, the desire and some luck can find himself on the right end of the big stick to the awe and wonder of his fellow chaps.

Reckless hard thumbing...

...a social media tale. There are those among us who have a predilection to showing their appreciation on social media through only what could be called reckless hard thumbing. You know the type. They will thumb cats, recipes, obituaries, trees, knees, fleas all manner of image, comment or discussion. There may be no harm in thumbing until it hurts but the consequences are still largely unknown with modern scientific studies yet to be conducted on such matters. There is on going debate between the educated, uneducated, and ill-informed are all at odds on the long term effects of such actions.

Yet there are no answers.

 The most important question lost in all of this ''what of the of thumbed?'

Normally one would ask to send lawyers, guns, and money. This situation requires a little more tact.

Trick shot.

For my next trick shot I'll make the bullet curve in the air and then wait for that blighter to come into full view. Not only am I good shot and a good sport I am also quite the fellow with my dashing cravat and smart side part. What-ho chaps!

Himmel...

It takes two days to send an emergency signal?  Why is the Leutnant steeped in shadow? How can an oaf be trustworthy? Is the Leutnant a yes man? Are the high command in Italy the right people to receive an emergency signal? Why not the high command in Germany? Is it really an emergency? Is two days really enough time? How can you say 'himmel' without an exclamation mark?
