It's a horse of course...

What a pretty horse! Even though thousands and thousands of the poor things didn't make it through the big one they seldom make an appearance in pocket war comics. I get the impression the artist enjoyed drawing this horse. It must have been a pleasant change from drawing  tanks, explosions, and blokes going 'Aaarghh!' Also having this beauty breaking the fourth wall makes it more captivating.
