Moustache Monday!

Ah... the pencil thin moustache much maligned as the sole providence of the spiv is seen here in all it's glorious versatility.  Usually associated with a too-smart suit and slicked down hair the pencil thin is seen here equally at home with wind swept hair and a collar turned up against the elements.
This excellent trimmed example comes to us from War at Sea Picture Library 1 The Devil's Cargo.
Moustaches is there nothing they can't do?

  1. Is that thought bubble supposed to be coming from him... or his moustache? It seems there really is nothing they can't do.

But, how does one try facial hair? As a minor? Where is the precedent!?

  2. Indeed! An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth and now no doubt a whisker for a whisker! Precedents be dammned. Welman only has seven minutes left to never primp, groom or shave again.

  3. On the bright side, one can only imagine how much time and effort it would take to groom that 'stache, with the facilities available at the time. A blessing in disguise.

  4. Very Errol Flynn. Do you know who the artist was on this frame please? Thanks for any help.
